This Privacy Policy explains how the CES Test for Deck on Oil Tankers mobile application handles information. The app is designed as a focused educational practice tool for seafarers.
Information we collect
The app does not require account registration and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, or personal documents.
When you purchase or restore a PRO subscription, purchase-related information may be processed by Apple App Store and RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. This may include purchase history, product identifier, subscription status, renewal status, anonymous app user identifier, device/platform information, and technical logs needed to provide subscription access.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, store, or process your credit card number, bank details, Apple ID password, or other payment credentials.
How information is used
Purchase-related information is used to:
- unlock PRO access after a successful purchase;
- restore previous purchases;
- verify subscription status;
- support app functionality and subscription diagnostics.
Analytics and tracking
The app does not use advertising tracking and does not sell user data. Purchase events may be visible in RevenueCat dashboards for subscription management and basic business analytics.
Offline use
The question content is stored locally in the app. Purchasing, restoring purchases, loading App Store prices, and refreshing subscription status require an internet connection.
Third-party services
The app uses Apple App Store services for in-app purchases and RevenueCat for subscription status management.
Children
The app is intended for maritime training and professional self-study. It is not directed to children.
Data retention
Subscription records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to provide purchase restoration, subscription validation, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, and compliance functions.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. You can also contact support for questions about the app or subscription access.
